Zechstein Minerals celebrates 20th anniversary with successful celebration day in Veendam

On Friday, May 1st, we celebrated our 20th anniversary with an extensive program at the Henk Nienhuis Stadium in Veendam. For us, this day was dedicated to connection, movement, and social engagement.

In the afternoon, we organized an active program for children from Veendam and the surrounding area, where parents were also very welcome. In collaboration with FC Groningen and Veendam Beweegt, we were able to offer a varied program of activities. FC Groningen provided an inspiring football clinic, and various sports and play materials were available through Veendam Beweegt. Additionally, the pumptrack was open, ensuring extra fun and physical activity. Our collaboration with FC Groningen aligns with our recent premium partnership within “FC Groningen in de Maatschappij,” in which we jointly focus on sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

With more than 200 children in attendance, beautiful weather, and free lemonade, popcorn, coffee, and tea, it was a resounding success. Visitors could also participate in a quiz about Zechstein Minerals, with great prizes to be won, such as various gift vouchers, magnesium products, free tickets to the swimming pool, and a signed FC Groningen shirt.

In the evening, we continued the anniversary celebrations with drinks for our business relations, including customers and suppliers. The day concluded with a joint dinner for our team in the form of a buffet.
