A long journey of 250.000.000 years:

Facts:

1. The Zechstein source produces the most pure and natural Bischofite ( = magnesiumchloride-hexahydraat).

2. Zechstein magnesium chloride is therefore the purest salt of the world.

3. The Zechstein Sea existed already circa 250 million years ago.

4. The Zechstein Sea has been isolated from the ocean at several times.

5. The Zechstein Sea has gone through three significant cycles of flood and dryness, in a period of several million years.

6. The Zechstein Sea is located in the North West of Europe, at a depth of 1500 meters.

7. Bischofite is recovered by solution mining.

8. The density of the brine (magnesium oil) is higher than 1,30 kg/l (31%).
